Acceptable Formats for Audio Mastering

PRICE
$45.00 per song with a 6-song minimum
We can accept WAV or AIFF files of any Bit-depth and Sample-rate up to 24/96K
For MUSIC we recommend delivering your final mixes at 24/88.2 however if all you have are 16/44.1 files we can work with that too.
For high-resolution audio files (anything over 16/44.1) you can deliver your files on a “DATA-CD or DVD” or by Fire Wire drive.
MP3 or AAC files are not suitable for final masters.

We recommend you have your tracks professionally mixed for the best possible results on the final masters, however if that is not an option we will work with what you have.

Music Mixing
These days everybody is recording themselves... and that’s great! To have the total creative freedom of a computer based DAW like Pro Tools LE or Logic Express or even Garage Band is awe inspiring. However, the ability to utilize these amazing tools to track your vision into reality has no bearing on your ability to mix & master those recordings into polished "radio ready" masters. And why should it? You’re not an engineer, you are an artist. Our clients are talented people; some of whom may have not had the opportunity for any formal engineering training. Those people need a service that can deliver reasonably priced, reliable pro-quality results. That’s what we do.

Mastering
You have just finished recording the music for your CD; the songs may have been recorded and mixed in different studios, using different equipment. Some of the songs might be too bass heavy or the high frequencies too harsh; some songs might be louder or quieter than others etc. The Mastering process homogenizes things, making your recordings sound reasonably uniform from song to song. Mastering also increases the over-all volume to commercial standards and adds punch & clarity, revealing subtle details once buried in the mix.

Composition
